Woman, 24, killed in horror crash in Kilmarnock pictured for first time

A WOMAN who died in a horror crash a week before Christmas has been named by police. Kayla Wilson died in the fatal smash on the B7038 in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire[1], during rush hour on Monday, December 18.

The 24-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision[2] on Ayr Road. It involved a Vauxhall[3] Corsa and an Audi[4] Q2.

Emergency services[5] rushed to the busy route around 9.35am after the alarm was raised. The 67-year-old female driver of the other car[6] and a 64-year-old female passenger were taken to Queen Elizabeth University[7] Hospital[8] in Glasgow[9] for treatment.
