Woman charged with DUI after Hooksett crash

A 58-year-old Hooksett woman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after police arrived at a crash scene with her vehicle 15 to 20 feet off the road and on top of a large rock Saturday night, police said.

Police were called to the scene at the intersection of Merrimack and Pleasant streets just after 6 p.m., according to a news release.
