Woman in Cotswolds quad-bike crash dies on Christmas Day
A woman who was seriously injured during a quad-bike crash in the Cotswolds a few days before Christmas died from her wounds on Christmas Day, police have said. The woman, aged in her 20s, is believed to have fallen from her a vehicle which overturned in Whitehouse Lane, Shipton Moyne, on Saturday, December 23. The victim was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries[1] after the crash.
Gloucestershire Police confirmed in an update she sadly died in Southmead Hospital, Bristol on Christmas Day. A man who is believed to have left the scene of the crash before police arrived was later found and arrested after police helicopter search. A second man was also later arrested.
Two men, aged 29 and 30 and from the Cotswolds, have been bailed with conditions to return to police in February, pending further enquiries. Gloucestershire Police are still appealing for information on the crash. In a statement given late on Boxing Day, Gloucestershire Police said: “A woman injured in a collision in Shipton Moyne, near Tetbury, on Saturday (23 December), has died in hospital.
