Woman killed in horror crash with Tesco lorry on M8 near Edinburgh as road closed for nine hours
A WOMAN has died following a horror crash on a busy Scots motorway. Emergency services[1] were called to the scene on the M8 near junction one[2] at Hermiston Gate near Edinburgh[3] yesterday morning.

The road was closed for over nine hours for investigations to be conductedCredit: SuppliedA Tesco MAN HGV was involved in a collision with a Kia Sorento Police[4] confirmed the driver of the Kia Sorento, a 41-year-old woman, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Several fire engines and ambulances including a special operations response team (SORT) were also at the scene throughout the day. The road was closed for around nine hours as investigations into the crash began.
