Woman seriously injured as her BMW collides with two other cars

Witnesses and those with dashcam footage have been asked to come forward following a serious crash[1] yesterday. Dorset Police have put out a public appeal after a BMW driver sustained serious injuries in Sherborne, Dorset, near the Somerset border. At around 3.25pm on Wednesday, December 20, a white Ford Ranger, a grey Ford KA and a blue BMW 1 series were involved in a crash on the A30 Yeovil Road at Babylon Hill.

The BMW driver, a woman in her 30s from Sherborne, was taken to hospital[2] to receive treatment for her serious injuries. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. The drivers of the other vehicles were not injured in the crash.

Police Constable Tom Ringer, of the Dorset Police Roads Policing Team, said: "We are carrying out a full investigation into the circumstances of the collision. I am appealing for any witnesses who have not already spoken with officers to please come forward. "Also, I am keen to hear from anyone who has a dashcam fitted to their vehicle and may have captured anything of relevance that might assist our investigation.

Finally, I would like to thank motorists for their patience and understanding during the road closure, which allowed us to carry out a detailed examination of the scene."
