Young woman taken to hospital after alleyway ‘assault’ in Sutton

At around 11.30pm on Saturday, November 25, a woman in her 20s is reported to have been assaulted in the alleyway between Helena Road and Lionel Street in Sutton. The victim also required hospital treatment for her injuries sustained, while the suspect is reported to have fled the scene. No arrests have yet been made in connection with the incident, with police appealing for information to find the person responsible. A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for information following an assault in St Helens on Saturday, November 25.

“At around 11.30pm, it was reported that a woman aged in her 20s was assaulted in an alleyway between Lionel Street and Helena Road. “The victim sustained a facial injury and required hospital treatment. “Our enquiries are ongoing into this incident and if you have any information, please get in touch.
