1 dead in Ashland County rollover crash: OSHP

ASHLAND COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – One man died following a rollover crash in Ashland County Friday, according to OSHP officials.

Troopers say the crash happened on U.S.

Route 30 around 4:12 pm. in Vermilion Township.

The car, a westbound 2002 Toyota Sequoia, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck the raised median before rolling multiple times and coming to a rest on its passenger side across the eastbound lanes, troopers say.

The 33-year-old driver, identified as Richard Arian, from Pinkerton, died at the scene after being ejected from the vehicle, troopers confirmed.

Troopers say they are not considered alcohol and/or drug use as factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
