12-year-old driver in fatal Dallas SUV crash after vehicle argument

DALLAS – Dallas Police are investigating a Thursday morning SUV crash that killed one boy and injured three others. Investigators believe the driver was a 12-year-old boy. Family members said there was an argument between the driver and one of the passengers who grabbed the steering wheel.

The vehicle smashed into a tree.

Witnesses and police said they were speeding.

There’s no word on why the kids were in the car, where they were headed, or how a 12-year-old got access to the car in the first place.
