19-year-old injured in Sunday accident

8--ANDERSON -- A 19-year-old man has been transported to an Indianapolis hospital suffering from severe injuries sustained in a Sunday crash. According to a press release from the Anderson Police Department, Jacob Heath was traveling westbound in an SUV in the 1800 block of West 53rd Street at 2:32 a.m. Sunday.

Heath reportedly lost control and swerved into the eastbound lane colliding with a pick-up truck being driven by William Allen, 60. Allen was not injured. The Anderson Police Department Crash Team was dispatched and the accident remains under investigation.
