A34 crash: Motorists urged to avoid area by police

The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 3.36pm today (January 11), with the driver of the vehicle sustaining a leg injury. The road is currently closed at Bullington Cross and the Tufton Junction, with a diversion in place. Hampshire police have asked drivers to avoid the area while the road is cleared.

A spokeswoman said: “We were called at 3.36pm this afternoon (Thursday 11 January) to reports of a single vehicle collision on the A34 northbound. “The driver of the vehicle has sustained an injury to his leg. “The road is currently closed at Bullington Cross and the Tufton junction, a diversion is in place.

We ask road users to avoid the area where possible and thank them for their patience while the emergency services deal with the incident.

“We remain at the scene assisting with traffic control while the road is cleared.”
