A road in Much Hoole is closed in both directions this evening due to a crash.

Advertisement [8] The A59 Liverpool Road is closed in both directions at Much Hoole with multiple vehicles from Lancashire Constabulary in attendance. Police reported the incident at around 6.20pm this evening (January 8).

The incident happened on the Fox Club roundabout heading towards Tarleton, police have said. A spokesperson for police said: “Please can we advise you of a road closure due to a RTC on the A59 Liverpool Road, Much Hoole. This is just after the Fox Cub roundabout heading towards Tarleton.
