Accident closes Rochester Road, Chatham, at the Bridgewood Manor roundabout, off the A229 Blue Bell Hill
Police have been diverting traffic after an accident on a busy route. Officers have closed the top of Rochester Road, in Chatham[1], at the Bridgewood Manor roundabout, just off the A229 Blue Bell Hill.

The accident is thought to involve a car and a motorbike and happened at around 6.30pm. Rochester Road has been closed in both directions between the roundabout and Lankester Parker Road, where Rochester Road becomes Maidstone Road.
There is heavy traffic on surrounding routes, as motorists are being diverted.
