Ambulance called to Elstree Road after Bushey Heath crash

Herts Police were alerted to reports of a collision in Elstree Road at 8.59am this morning (January 10). The force were on the scene quickly and confirmed they had implemented a road closure at around 9am. One vehicle was involved, near the junction with High Road in Bushey Heath.

At around 10.30am, police added that the ambulance service was also at the scene, although they may have arrived earlier. The East of England Ambulance service has been contacted for further information. In a post to social media, a police spokesperson said: “A road closure has been put in place and we advise motorists to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.”

Confirmation of the closure came within minutes of another road closure, in Watford. Officers came across a broken-down vehicle in the A41, near The Dome roundabout, at around 9am this morning. A road closure was put in place and recovery was arranged.
