Arrest after motorcyclist seriously injured in crash
An 18-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Derby.
Derbyshire Police said the crash – involving a white Ford Transit and a red Aprilia SX 125cc – happened at about 15:45 GMT on Saturday on the A38 southbound at the slip road with the A516.
The van driver, a man in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and has been released on bail.
The force is urging drivers with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
