Bath Rugby v Gloucester Rugby LIVE updates and team news announcements ahead of Gallagher Premiership clash

It’s team news day for the true West Country derby. Bath Rugby[1] welcome struggling Gloucester Rugby[2] to the Recreation Ground on Sunday in Round 11 of the 2023/24 Gallagher Premiership with the two sides having very different seasons. The Blue, Black and White head into the weekend in the play-off places having been top for Christmas.

A hugely rotated Bath side went down 35-22 away at Leicester Tigers on Sunday[3] but that means head of rugby Johann van Graan has rested his big guns heading into the derby. The Cherry and Whites come into the game sitting ninth in the table having lost eight Premiership games on the bounce, going down 32-26 to Harlequins at Twickenham[4] on Saturday and are in need of a big result to turn around their season. Team news is out at midday on Friday.

The game kicks off at 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
