Biker rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by ‘drug driver’ in Leeds
A man has been rushed to hospital after a crash involving a suspected drug driver in Leeds[1]. West Yorkshire Police were called to Bradford Road in Guiseley on Saturday (January 6) following a crash between a motorbike and aVolkswagen Golf.The motorbike rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries, following the smash, which happened shortly before 5.30pm.[2] The driver of the Golf, a 32-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and possession of a class B drug.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Shortly before 5.30pm on Saturday 6 January, police were called to a report of a road traffic collision involving a motorbike and Volkswagen Golf on Bradford Road, Guiseley. "The motorbike rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries. "The driver of the Golf, a 32-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and possession of a class B drug.
