Blackburn: Bus, taxi and car involved in multi-vehicle crash
The incident happened earlier today (Saturday) on Accrington[1] Road in Intack, close to the St Jude’s Church. The crash involved a car, a taxi and a bus and the emergency services were on the scene. Police had cordoned off the area for a period as the fire service attempted to rescue the driver of a Black VW Golf that was involved in the crash.
The VW Golf had lost its tyres and the bus had been heavily damaged on the drivers’s side. The taxi had also almost lost a tyre. The incident had closed a major road in Blackburn (Pictures courtesy of Shad Chefs Fb[2])
It appears one car had hit a taxi which had in turn smashed into the bus. Traffic was affected for those heading to and from Accrington and Blackburn.
