Boxer Jarrell Miller arrested for allegedly bodyslamming car dealership employee, stealing truck

Professional boxer Jarrell Miller was arrested in Florida earlier this week after he allegedly bodyslammed a car dealership employee and proceeded to steal a truck. Miller was undefeated as a professional boxer before he lost to Daniel Dubois via 12th-round TKO on DAZN’s Day of Reckoning in Saudi Arabia last month to fall to 26-1-1. The Hollywood Police Department said the incident took place at the Haims Motors auto dealership about a half-hour outside of Miami.

Police said that an employee claimed that a woman approached him about a cell phone that she had left in a truck that had recently been repossessed by the dealership, according to TMZ[1]. When the employee returned, Miller allegedly put him a chokehold, demanded the keys to the truck and threw the man to the ground. Miller then allegedly grabbed the keys and drove off in the truck, but was apprehended shortly thereafter as there was a tracking device in the vehicle.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

In a court hearing on Wednesday, a prosecutor accused Miller of planning the attack and theft to get the truck back.
