BREAKING: Man, 23, fighting for his life after crash

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a crash between a motorbike and a car in Oldham[1]. The smash happened on Whitby Road at around 4.15pm yesterday (Sunday). Police said the motorbike was travelling south down the road, before it collided with a car that was turning into April Close.

The rider of the bike - a 23-year-old man - was rushed to hospital from the scene after emergency crews responded. No arrests have been made. The driver of the car is 'assisting police with their enquiries'. Officers at GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now urging any witnesses to come forward.
