Police officers and paramedics were called to a car that crashed near the Charborough Estate at Almer on the A31 at 5.46 am on Thursday, January 18.
An commuter travelling to work described seeing a red Mini on its roof ‘wedged’ into a hedge. He said: “Traffic was slow as I was coming round the corner near the entrance to Charborough Estate and I noticed the car wedged in the bush. “It was completely upside down and on its roof – I just hope whoever was in it got out safe.”
The man driving the car was unharmed, according to Dorset Police, who have arranged for the recovery of the vehicle. A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 5.46am on Thursday, January 18, 2024, to a report of a single vehicle collision on the A31 at Almer. “Officers attended with the ambulance service.
The male driver did not sustain any injuries.
