Car left embedded in roundabout after crash on Peaks Parkway

A car has been left embedded in the centre of a roundabout after a crash on Peaks Parkway. Police cordoned off the car, which came to a rest in thick foliage on the Low Farm roundabout, to the north of New Waltham. The large roundabout is covered by thick bushes and is home to a number of trees.

Debris could be seen close to the car. It appeared that road furniture was also damaged during the crash. In a separate incident at around 1pm this afternoon, police closed Peaks Parkway for a brief time at the junction with Ellis Way, in central Grimsby.

Officers said they were dealing with an ongoing incident and asked drivers to avoid the area.

It is not clear if anyone was injured in either incident.

Grimsby Live had contacted Humberside Police for comment.
