Charminster Road crash: three people taken to hospital
Five vehicles were involved in the incident in Charminster Road which also left several other people injured. Police were called to the scene at 4.41pm on Sunday afternoon, December 31. Officers attended, along with the fire and ambulance services.
Dorset Police said the three casualties were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious. Several other people were treated at the scene for minor injuries. Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said one female was reported to be trapped and was freed by firefighters using hydraulic tools.
Fire crews from Springbourne and Redhill attended along with an officer.
The fire service was called to attend at 4.47pm with the last crew leaving the scene at 6.04pm.
The vehicles were recovered, and the road was cleared at around 6.50pm.
