incident occurred on Allendale Road, Ormesby, outside St Gabriel’s Catholic Primary School (Image: Google) A young child was taken to hospital with a broken leg after being knocked over by a car near North East primary school Police were called to the collision outside St Gabriel’s Catholic Primary School, in Allendale Road Ormesby, Middlesbrough[1], yesterday (Tuesday, January 9) morning.

Cleveland[2] Police spokesperson said: “Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in Middlesbrough. “The incident occurred on Allendale Road, Ormesby, outside St Gabriel’s Catholic Primary School at around 8.35am on Tuesday January. “It involved a black Vauxhall Astra and a young child who was taken to James Cook University Hospital with a broken leg.

“Enquires are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone with information or any relevant dash cam to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 004879.”
