Coventry guide dog brothers reunited after nine years apart
Two guide dogs from the same litter have been reunited after nine years apart and had the “best time racing around” said a dog owner.
Brothers Carlo and Chips were part of a litter of eight born in 2014 in Henley-in-Arden before they trained as guide dogs and separated.
Carlo was partnered with his owner in Coventry while Chips went to Peterborough.
Now retired, Chips was rehomed in Coventry which allowed him to meet Carlo again.
“We reunited the brothers for the first time on 5 January in War Memorial Park, where they certainly seemed to recognise each other and had the best time racing around together,” said Carlo’s owner Charles Bloch.
