Crash closes A47 from Guyhirn roundabout towards Thorney
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, have reportedly been at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on the A47 near Guyhirn this afternoon (Wednesday).
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area of the collision, which happened on the eastbound carriageway of the A47 between Guyhirn and Thorney.
The road is closed towards Peterborough from the Guyhirn roundabout and diversions are in place.
It is believed to have involved a lorry and a car, but there are no details of how many people may be been injured, although Cambridgeshire police have said paramedics were working alongside fire and rescue crews as well as police officers at the scene.
