A cyclist was injured in a crash on a road in Keighley (Image: Pixabay) POLICE have confirmed a cyclist was injured in a crash on a busy road in the Bradford district. Emergency services were called to Bradford Road, Keighley[1], shortly after 10am yesterday after receiving reports of a collision involving a car and a cyclist in the roadworks area.

According to Yorkshire[2] Ambulance Service, an ambulance was dispatched to the scene and a patient was taken to Airedale Hospital. Police also attended the scene of the incident. This morning, a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said a cyclist had been injured in the collision.

The force spokesperson described the injury as “minor”.

Traffic alerts reported there was slow traffic due to the crash on Bradford[3] Road in the roadworks area from Wardman Street to Athol Street.
