December car accident victim dies in hospital

Photo: RNZ / Richard Tindiller A woman has died in hospital after being injured in a crash south of Hastings at the end of last year. The two-car crash at the intersection of State Highway 50 and Maraekakaho Road was reported to police on the afternoon of 30 December.

The critically injured woman died 4 January, police said.

Police said enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
