Delays following crash on Ridgeway
Delays after crash on A354 (Image: Google Maps) A large tree branch fell onto the road near a busy roundabout causing delays. The tree branch obstructed the A354 near the Avenue Stadium roundabout in Dorchester at around 1pm today.
It was initially reported as a crash by travel reporting service INRIX, but Dorset Police have since confirmed it was a fallen branch. The road has now been cleared. A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "At 12.58pm on Tuesday, January 2, Dorset Police received a report of a large tree branch obstructing the A354 near the Avenue Stadium roundabout in Dorchester.
"The incident was passed to the highways patrol and the road was cleared of the tree debris at around 1.25pm."
