Derbyshire mobile speed camera locations for January 2024

CREST has revealed 20 locations where mobile speed cameras will be operating across Derbyshire[1] during the first month of 2024. The list showing where speed-monitoring vans may be found[2] in December 2023 has been published by the Casualty Reduction Enforcement Support Team[3] (CREST). Duffield Road in Allestree is featured this month.

The wider county locations this time around include several routes in the Peak District as well as Chesterfield. CREST says it publicises the information in a bid to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on Derbyshire’s roads[4]. A spokesperson for CREST said: “Please be aware that we will be at other locations across Derbyshire.

Remember, we can’t be everywhere, but we will be somewhere. POLL: What’s the worst road for potholes?[5] “Drive slowly, carefully, to the speed limit and weather conditions for the protection of yourself and other road users.” Please note that the locations listed below are subject to change.
