Dispersal order after man injured

Leicestershire Police said none of the officers assaulted required treatment.

The force said it had imposed an order in the area, which came into place 16:15 on Saturday and would continue until the same time on Sunday.

The measure gives officers the power to require people to leave the area, it said, in a bid to reassure the local community and reduce the risk of any further public disorder.

Police have urged anyone who witnessed events leading up to the disorder, or who have footage, to come forward.
