Driver involved in motorway crash arrested for drink and drug driving

Police stopped the driver of the black Audi Q2 in Waterloo Road, Blackpool, yesterday (January 5).

The driver had failed to stop following a damage-only crash on the M61. Police also found they had no insurance. A police spokesperson said: “This Audi was involved in a fail to stop, damage-only collision on the M61.

It was stopped in Waterloo Road, Blackpool.

“The driver was arrested for drink and drug driving, and no insurance.

“The Audi was seized under section 165.”
