Early morning report of facility abuse and neglect is unfounded: Chagrin Falls police blotter

CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio

Police investigated a 4:41 a.m. Jan.

8 report of possible abuse and neglect at a residential facility.

Involved parties included a Chagrin Falls woman, 71, a Garfield Heights woman, 34, and a Cuyahoga Falls woman, 41.

Officers determined that neither abuse nor neglect had occurred.

Dispute: Solon Road

Police were called after a 2 a.m. Jan.

7 disturbance was reported between a mother, 58, and her son, 19.

Officers determined that both parties were arguing with each other, and they could not determine the primary aggressor. The subjects were separated for the night, with the investigation continuing.

Investigation: Solon Road

Police were asked by Portage County Family Services Jan.

9 to investigate a possible domestic violence incident in November involving an adult Chagrin Falls woman and a teenager.

The investigation status is pending.

Crash: East Washington Street

Officers cited a Cleveland Heights woman, 22, for failing to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic at 9:50 a.m. Jan.

She is accused of making a left turn from a parking lot onto the street, causing a crash with another driver, a Chagrin Falls woman, 81.
