Hundreds of dogs find themselves being cared for the Dogs Trust for a variety of reasons – but one thing they all have in common is the need for a loving home The Dogs Trust[1] provides a caring home for hundreds of dogs across the country, and although the charity’s rehoming centres[2] create a safe space for the lovable pups – their residents find true happiness when they are welcomed into their forever home. 5. Peach
Peach is a sweet five-year-old Great Dane who loves loves her soft toys and zooming around. She can be a little unsure of new people but she quickly warms up and can live with children aged 12 years and over.
Peach would love to have direct access to a secure garden and is looking to be the only pet in the home. Being a Great Dane, Peach is a strong girl on the lead at times, so will need someone who can manage this. Photo: Dogs Trust
6. Bree
Bree is a beautiful and playful two-year-old lurcher cross who loves meeting people and other dogs.
Bree is a friendly girl who can live with another dog and she has happily shared her home with one before. Bree has shown that she isn’t comfortable around children so is looking for an adult only home who have experience of looking after dogs. Loki is a handsome six-year-old crossbreed who is looking for a forever home. In his previous home, the friendly chap was famous in his street as he loves saying hello to everyone.
Loki is looking to have a secure garden with a 6ft fence to have somewhere to zoom around as he doesn’t have any recall, and he has a very high prey drive. He is able to be left alone for up to 4 hours a day and can share his home with children aged 12 years and over. Sammy
Sammy is a 12-year-old Patterdale Terrier who loves being out in the great outdoors. He is a happy boy who is at his best when exploring out on walks, spending time with his family or enjoying lots of tasty treats. He loves to be out and about doing his own thing rather than getting a fuss, but when staying at home, he would like for someone to be home most of the day to keep him company.
