Emergency services called out to crash at Earlestown junction

A silver Nissan Micra and black Vauxhall Astra were involved in the collision at the junction of St John Street and Sankey Street, Earlestown at around 2.40pm. A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We received a report of a collision involving two cars, a silver Nissan Micra and black Vauxhall Astra, at the junction of St John Street and Sankey Street, Earlestown at around 2.40pm on Saturday, January 13.

"A slight injury was reported."
