Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ Heath’s real killer as teens play ‘blame game’ after horror crash

Emmerdale[1] fans are convinced they have worked out Heath Hope's real killer as Angelica and Cathy play the "blame game" following the horror car crash which took place on Monday night's episode. Heath, played by Sebastian Dowling, lost his life after a car accident on the way to a party in Hotten, after his sister Cathy Hope decided to take Wendy's car and head off to the New Year's Eve bash. Things took a tragic turn when the car veered off the road in a shocking collision, leaving Cathy and Angelica with nasty injuries and Heath losing his life.

In emotional scenes, Wendy tried to save him but it was too late and Bob realised he had lost his son. When the paramedics arrived, they rushed everyone to hospital.

As the family and the teens are left to deal with the repercussions of the incident, Cathy and Angelica have been spoken to separately by the police, and have both claimed that the other was driving at the time of the crash. Fans of the show quickly took to X, formally known as Twitter, and claimed that the real killer was "clear".

One viewer said: "C'mon Angel is clearly lying #Emmerdale[2]," while another added: "So their gonna play the Blame game, but why do i believe cathy #emmerdale[3]." A third quipped: "Angelica looks guilty ..... she could have been driving #Emmerdale[4]," while another added: "I love how we've never seen the evil Angelica before and now she's a prime suspect for murder #emmerdale[5]." "So who's lying and who's telling the truth", another wrote after Tuesday night's emotional episode.

Tony Audenshaw, who plays Bob Hope, shared his thoughts on working with the Dowling twins[6], Gabrielle and Sebastian, saying: "It's been brilliant.

I think it's quite extraordinary that they're real twins and they're playing real twins. They're fabulous kids." He also spoke about the dramatic joyriding scenes, adding: "He can't believe that they've done it.

It's unclear, actually, whether he knows that Cathy can drive or not. "I think he's more concerned. Obviously because of the nature of what's happened in the last few months a lot of behaviour has been tied in with Cathy's PMDD...

So he's concerned, I think, more than anything."
