Five arrested after police called to two Metrolink stops

Four youths ‘with blades’ and an ‘intoxicated man’ were arrested in two separate incidents on the Metrolink[1] yesterday. Police said the four youths were arrested by transport officers at the Cornbrook tram stop last night. They were arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article, possession with intent to supply and conspiracy to commit robbery.

A man was also arrested for a public order offence on a tram towards Sale[2], police said. The ‘intoxicated male’ was detained after a member of the public contacted police. Try MEN Premium now with our amazing New Year offer… just click here[3] to give it a try.
