Full list of Chatsworth winter activities for all ages to enjoy
The Chatsworth Estate is one of Derbyshire’s most popular tourist attractions. From the impressive stately home, to the wonderful farm shop, Chatsworth attracts thousands of locals and tourists every year[1]. While the house and garden are closed for essential maintenance and conservation until 16 March, visitors can still experience a host of activities to enjoy the seasonal changes and explore all that Chatsworth has to offer[2].
From family woodland walks to educational talks on landscape and forestry management, Chatsworth is encouraging visitors to explore the great outdoors this winter. Created for children of all ages, the family explorer walks are the perfect adventure to keep little ones entertained during February half-term. Explore Stand Wood and create a woodland home for magical moss folk using a selection of foraged natural materials including twigs, moss, bark and pebbles.
POLL: What’s the best thing to do in Derbyshire on a rainy day?[3] As well as events focused on enjoying the outdoors, Chatsworth House Trust will host a variety of arts and cultural activities within the house and garden suitable for a range of abilities. Parking will also be free of charge on the Chatsworth Estate until March 14, allowing visitors to explore Chatsworth’s green spaces.
