GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – It’s officially cookie season with the Girl Scouts!

Your favorite sweet treats go on sale beginning Jan.

8. This includes fan-favorites like Thin Mints(R), Samoas(R), Do-so-dos (R), and more.

Girl Scouts of South Carolina-Mountains to Midlands kicked off their highly anticipated cookie season on Saturday with dozens of girls gathering with Troop 1605.

Every year, the Girl Scouts choose a theme. This year’s theme is “Unbox the Future,” which aims to remove social barriers that keep girls boxed in, Girl Scouts leaders say.

The Girl Scouts also chose their mascot this year: the Axolotl!

Here are some important cookies dates to add to your calendar:

. Troop delivery: Feb.
