Glasgow pedestrian who died 19 days after horror crash named as Jean Wilson

A pedestrian who died in a fatal crash on a Glasgow[1] road has now been named as Jean Wilson. The incident happened at around 11.50am on Tuesday, December 2, with police rushing to the scene shortly after. The crash involved a white Seat Leon and a pedestrian.

Jean Wilson was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital[2] for treatment. However, she later died at the hospital on Thursday, December 21.

Following enquiries, Police Scotland[5] road policing officers are now appealing for information to establish the full circumstances of the crash.

Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died as a result of this crash. “Our enquiries are ongoing and I would ask anyone who witnessed the crash or was in the area around this time and has any information to contact us. “I would also appeal to anyone who may have dash cam footage which could assist to get in touch.”
