Gorka Marquez distracts fans with family video after making huge career move and giving ‘enough’ admission

Gorka Marquez left fans distracted by the same thing in his latest family video after returning back to UK following a huge career move. The Strictly Come Dancing[1] star excitedly revealed he'd landed a new job that is seeing him take his dancing shoes off for the time being. Gorka,[2] 33, announced on Thursday (January 11) that he'll appear as a judge on the new series of Bailando con las Estrell, the Spanish version of the BBC One dance contest before he made his debut on Saturday (January 14).

But less than 24 hours later and the dad-of-two was back at his Greater Manchester home just a few days after heading to Madrid for his new job. Taking to Instagram, fiancee Gemma Atkinson confirmed 'Papa was home' and he didn't get too much time to recover from his trip back. He shared the same video to his own Instagram page and could be seen dancing in the living room of their family home with four-year-old daughter Mia while Thiago, who was born back in July and is known as Tio for short, could be seen laying on the floor watching his sister and dad bust some moves. "Someone got to [sic] excited watching @bailandoest so we had to Do the Jive, well few jives," Gorka captioned the sweet post. He also shared the video from Gemma's Instagram Story to his own and jokingly wrote: "As if I didn't have enough dancing in the last 24h" alongside a face plant emoji and a crying laughing emoji.

And while fans were loving Mia's moves, others couldn't help but comment on six-month-old Tio's enthusiasm too. @reggieandhismollruby said: "She's got the moves. Even Thiago is kicking his legs to the music." @melaniewilliams2950 commented: "Thiago's joining in as well, look at them little legs doing the kicks and flicks!!!" @lucyusher1 wrote: "Love Tiago's little legs going too!" @hoblouise replied: "Oh I love this so much!

What a beautiful family you have! Love Theo joining in too." @nickib1343 posted: "Love this! Love that little Tio is joining in as well." @nicoladais added: "Little Thiago moving his legs like he's dancing!

So cute." It comes after Gorka's new job did spark some concern among Strictly fans. While his BBC show co-stars were rushing to share their support, some fans were worried about what this may mean for his future in the UK version of the dance competition. @freddexmorgan said: "Congrats Broski!

Will you still dance on UK's Strictly? I'm so proud of what you've achieved so far." @june.dodd.98 commented: "So pleased for you but I hope it won't take you away from the uk version and we'll see you back on the dance floor in September." @4evermiska wrote: "Congratulations.

But please be back for Strictly next autumn." @liannebradshaw shared: "Congratulations xxx please tell me this doesn't interfere with Strictly?" @chantelbriody52 replied: "That's great Gorka. Does this mean you are leaving strictly? I hope not." @kimgray428 added: "Well deserved but please don't leave SCD."

Fans needn't worry though as decisions about the next Strictly series are likely yet to be made and Gorka re-confirmed just this week that he'll be joining his fellow professionals on the Strictly Come Dancing - The Professionals - UK tour 2024 which runs across April and May.
