Horror moment man gets thrown from vehicle after crashing his speeding car in California

The driver of an out-of-control car dramatically flew through the air before landing hard on the pavement of a convenience store parking lot after crashing into a parked car and a moving truck.
The crash, which did not appear to involve anyone besides the driver of the car, happened just after 8pm on January 5.
Security camera footage did not capture much detail of the crash's impact, but sounds of the high-speed crash are clearly heard as the red sedan slams into a parked silver car and a U-Haul truck, which visibly shakes on contact.
The driver of the car is then seen flying through the air, over the U-Haul truck, and slamming directly into the concrete parking lot.
He does not move after he hits the ground and was taken immediately to the hospital by an emergency medical team, where he was reportedly in critical condition.

The crash happened in San Bernardino, California[2], a city east of Los Angeles[3].
Two men can be seen on camera watching as the red car speeds toward the parking lot.
When it becomes clear there will be a crash, they sprint away and successfully avoid becoming victims of the incident.
Onlookers appeared to be stressed out post-crash but did not rush over to the driver.
One of the men who ran away from the oncoming vehicle threw his hands behind his head in a sign of distress.
The aftermath of the crash shows the red car entirely totaled and flipped on its side between the silver sedan and the U-Haul.
According to a local Fox11 report, the San Bernardino Police Department said one person was taken to a nearby hospital as a result of the crash.
The unnamed driver's current condition is unknown.
