Irmo police investigating Lake Murray Boulevard collision

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)- The Irmo Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle collision that happened on Thursday, say officers.

The department says, officers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles in the 1300 block of Lake Murray Boulevard on Thursday, Jan.

11, around 10:20 p.m.

Both drivers were taken to Prisma Health Richland by EMS.

Officers say one driver did die due to injuries received during the collision.

The Irmo Police Department and the South Carolina Highway Patrol’s MAIT team are continuing to investigate the collision.
