Knutsford Road closed by police after crash with car and pedestrian
It follows a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Knutsford Road. The incident occurred between Bridge Foot and Victoria Park in Latchford. The road is currently closed heading into town by Cheshire Police officers who attended the scene.
The closure is between the Co-op and Grove Street heading towards the town centre. The road is now open heading towards Latchford village. Diversions are in place on the 1 & X5 because of an accident on Knutsford Road.
All services are diverting via Latchford, Kingsway then onto Manchester Road

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “Police were called to Knutsford Road at 4pm on Friday, January 12, following reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
“The road is currently closed between St Mary’s Street and Grove Street.”
Warrington’s Own Buses says services have been diverted while the road is closed.
