Unbelievable footage shows the devastation caused in New Hampshire[2]‘s coastal towns after a monster storm brought intense rain, wind and widespread flooding.

Entire neighborhoods were left swamped underwater in Hampton Beach following hours of heavy deluge and high tides – triggering an emergency along the coast.

Hampton Beach’s emergency was declared because of the extremely high seas and flooding – as they temporarily closed roads and opened evacuation centers.

Devastating footage from the scene showed waves crashing ashore as homes and businesses in the oceanfront neighborhoods were engulfed by water.

The severe flooding today was caused by a threefold effect. Heavy rain washed out the area overnight, while mild winter temperatures melted snow that fell over the weekend, and the storms then brought raging waves that added to the tumult.
