Live: Long M4 delays after lorry overturns on motorway
One lane has been closed on the M4 motorway[1] after a lorry reportedly flipped over. Traffic is moving slowly in the eastbound direction on the motorway, with delays reported between junction 15 and 14 in Wiltshire. According to traffic monitor Inrix[2], the lorry came to rest on an embankment near the carriageway, with the first lane closed.
Traffic cameras show long delays for motorists heading eastbound. Inrix reports: “Slow traffic and one lane closed due to overturned lorry on M4 eastbound from J15 A346 Marlborough Road (Swindon East) to J14 A338 (Hungerford). Lane one (of three) is closed, the lorry has come to rest on an embankment.”
