Live: M5 Avonmouth Bridge delays after two-car crash
There are reports of huge delays on the M5 Avonmouth Bridge[1] this evening (January 9) following a crash. Roads traffic monitoring service[2] Inrix says one lane is shut on the southbound carriageway due to the two-vehicle collision. Inrix reports: “Queueing traffic and one lane closed due to debris on road and accident, two cars involved on M5 Avonmouth Bridge southbound from J18 M49 to J19 A369 Martcombe Road (Portishead).
“Lane one (of four) is now closed, both cars have been moved to the hard shoulder and a clear up of the debris is underway, traffic was held briefly around 5.55pm.”
