Live: M50 traffic stopped by overturned vehicle in Newent

Traffic is stationary of the M50 after a vehicle reportedly overturned in a crash this evening (January 1). Vehicles have been stopped in the westbound direction at the B4221, at Newent. Google Maps shows long delays in the area, with congestion at the Ross-on-Wye Golf Club.

Traffic has reportedly been held since 5.50pm today (January 1). Traffic monitor Inrix reports: “All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to overturned car on M50 Westbound at B4221 (Newent).Traffic held around 17:50.” This is a live blog.
