Gunshots and arrests: Everything we know so far about Fegg Hayes shooting

Detectives are tonight continuing to question four suspects after a Stoke-on-Trent house was peppered with gunshots. Armed police have swarmed Sandford Hill and Longton in response[1] to the 6am shooting at a Fegg Hayes[2] property. It led Staffordshire Police to cordon off Hillgreen Road, Mosslands Road and Oldway Place, in Sandford Hill.

It also triggered a similar police response in Grosvenor Street, in Longton. Two men, a 33-year-old man, from Leek, and a 35-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, and two women, aged 23 and 42, both from Leek, were arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life. Police are continuing to appeal for information following the incident.

They should call the police on 101, quoting incident number 78 of 15 January, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
