Live: Police on scene as Stoke-on-Trent crash blocks road
Police are on the scene of a crash in Stoke-on-Trent this evening (January 8). Officers are reportedly directing traffic following the collision on Snow Hill in Shelton.[1] According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the road is partially blocked and vehicles are backing up.
One StokeonTrentLive reader said: "There are two police cars either side of two black cars on Snow Hill. Officers are directing traffic around them." A second added: "There's an accident at the lights on Snow Hill.
Cars have crashed and there's a lot of traffic build up." Inrix reports: "The A5006 Snow Hill in both directions partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident near B5045 Shelton New Road." StokeonTrentLive has approached Staffordshire Police[2] and West Midlands Ambulance Service for statements.
