Live updates as crash closes A363 Bradford road in both directions

A major road into Bath is closed this morning following a collision[1]. The A363 Bradford Road, in Bathford, is closed in both directions close to its junction with the A4 after a crash which appears to have taken place soon after 6am this morning, Friday, January 5. It is not clear at this point how many vehicles are involved or whether anybody has been injured in the crash[2].

We will keep you up to date with the latest information in our live blog below. Traffic monitoring service Inrix reports: "A363 Bradford Road in both directions closed, slow traffic due to accident from Bathford Hill to A4. Sensors show the road is closed."
